Edith Widder on "Illuminating the Perils of Pollution, Nature’s Way"

Edith Widder, PhD, CEO, President and Senior Scientist at the Ocean Research and Conservation Association and RFS Board Member, was featured in The New York Times this week in a lead Science Times article "Illuminating the Perils of Pollution, Nature's Way."

The article describes Dr. Widder's important work in tracking and fighting pollution using bioluminescence. "It's my belief if we can make pollution visible, and let people know what small things they are doing are actually making an improvement in this incredible environment," she said, "I think it could make a huge difference. It can be a game-changer."
